NOTE: Potassium nitrate is legal in almost every country and can be purchased over the internet or in a chemical warehouse.
To make potassium nitrate you will need
- A instant cold pack that contains ammonium nitrate
- Potassium Hydroxide
- Glass jar or beaker
First measure out 80 grams of ammonium nitrate and dissolve completely in hot water(this will take a long time)
Second measure out 63 grams of potassium hydroxide and completely dissolve in water.
Third when both of these are completely dissolved slowly add the ammonium nitrate solution to the potassium hydroxide.
Forth leave outside for all the ammonia and water to evapourate
And your done.
