NOTE: A high percentage of organic powdered dye can make your smoke-bomb coloured and a small amount baking soda will slow the burn time and reduce the risk of fire.
To make a smoke bomb you will need
- Sugar
- Potassium nitrate
Mix 3 parts potassium nitrate with 2 parts sugar. Here you have made a dry smoke bomb.
If you heat the mixture on a very low heat until it is like caramel you have made a better smoke bomb. You must stir constantly otherwise it will start smoking.
It is a good idea to do this outside because of the risk of fire.
